Sarah Saavedra

I’m a UX/UI designer currently based in San Diego and recently graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Cognitive Science (Design & Interaction). I’m currently working at Sports Excitement, where I design end-to-end product experiences focused on improving how parents, coaches, and teams connect. I enjoy designing intuitive, user-centered experiences with a strong focus on mobile and customer-facing apps. My work is grounded in research, but I love bringing ideas to life through clean UI, thoughtful interactions, and scalable design systems. I’m especially interested in building products that feel seamless, engaging, and genuinely useful in people’s everyday lives.
